The ruler of the Emirate is his Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi Member of the Supreme Council for the Union
and his Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al-Numaim.
It is the smallest among the emirates and has an area of 460
sq.klm. Thus this area is equal to 0 . 33% from the total area of the United Arab Emirates. The Emirate of Ajman lies between
the two emirates of Sharjah and Um Al-Quain at the Arabian Gulf with a length of 26Klm.
The Emirate is made up of
three far different regions in terms of the topographic relief and the extent whether, and the regions are: Ajman City, Musfoot
and Al-Manama area.
The Emirate climate is characterized by the moderation where the temperature is moderate. Humidity
is high during the summer, whereas it reaches 25 degrees Celsius in winter.
Ajman city is the capital of the emirate
and its principle center, and includes the Ruler Residence, the government departments, the companies, factories, and the
banks as well. Its port and sea gate appears at the Arabian Gulf coast. The city became a major center for attracting the
investors and capitals due to its strategic location on the crossroads among the country emirates, the achievements which
has been attained at the economical fields as well as the completion of the infrastructure regarding that it became qualified
for occupying the third position among the emirates in terms of the number of industrial installations installed on its territories.

Musfoot Area is about 110Klm from the city of
Ajman to the southeast. The area is famous of its fascinating nature that includes the high mountains, such as (Dafta, Madeerah,
the White Mountain, Leshan, and Abu Faraj Mountain) also there are valleys such as (Ghalfa, Leshan, Al-Sawamir, Al-Khanfarih
, Al-Dafdi(frog) and leem valley ) the area is famous of agriculture due to its fertile soil, the vast valleys and the moderate
climate which made the area as an adequate center for tourism and sightseeing.
Al-Manama area is located in a plain
full of pebbles and sands and the area is characterized by its fascinating nature which includes the mountains such as : (Al-Ashqar
and Bin Elwah Mountain) these mountains are rich with the magnesium, chrome and building stones. There are some valleys such
as : (Munsit, Al-Safsaf and Ba-ee Al-Nakheel valley) the area is also famous of agricultural crops. Al-Manama Area is about
60klm far from Ajman city to the eastward.
